Questions, answered

Is MiinPlanner really free?

Yes. Everything on this page is free to use, with no trial and no credit card. Optional extras may come later, but the planner itself stays free.

Can I use ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?

Yes. MiinPlanner gives you a ready prompt and opens ChatGPT or Claude with it filled in. Paste the reply back and it reads tables, lists and CSV from any AI, so Gemini or Copilot work too.

How do the reminders work?

In Settings, open Reminders to get your private calendar link. Add it to Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar once. Every task with a due date shows up on that day with a 9am alert, and high or urgent tasks also alert the day before. Done tasks drop off on their own.

What is Miin Buddy?

Your planning companion. It reads your real board and keeps a momentum score from 0 to 100 based on what you finished this week, what’s overdue and whether you finished something today. Its face changes with the score. Pick the personality you like (Buddy, Coach, Mentor or Hype), ask for up to 3 short check-ins a day, or chat with it about your tasks.

Can my team use it?

Yes. Create a workspace, invite teammates by email and assign tasks. Everyone sees the same board and calendar, and tasks assigned to you show up in your reminders.

Will adding a plan or template change my existing tasks?

No. Plans and templates are added alongside what’s already on your board. If you choose to replace your board with a template, your current board is saved first so you can switch back.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. In Settings you can export your board to a file and import it again on any account. You can also save boards as spaces and switch between them.

Which AI does MiinPlanner use?

The built-in quick plan, check-ins and chat use Google’s Gemini models, with up to 3 quick plans a day. Pasted plans come from whichever AI you choose. Your tasks are stored in Google Firebase and are only visible to you and anyone you invite to a workspace.
